Ik ben reeds verschillende jaren aan het schilderen. In de Academie van Mechelen volgde ik  enkele jaren het multidisciplinaire atelier, deze cursus is er op gericht om buiten de lijntjes te leren kleuren. Deze cursus word gegeven door de hedendaagse kunstenaar Herman  Van Ingelgem, die ook schilderkunst geeft in de academie. Ik deed  een behoorlijke technische kennis op, die mijn werk nu beïnvloed.
